Outline the benefits of children doing sport at school

“Play outside if you want to be tall.”

I used to hear from my parents when I was young. Even though now I’m not tall, at that time I believed their advice and played with friends throughout the whole day. How could they tell us so confidentially? They might have known the importance of exercise and it was sometimes more necessary than homework. Now I want to talk the importance of sport at school because nowadays the safest place where kids can play is the playground in school.

People say that children these days don’t play outside. There are so many other options and excuses too. They should study hard. They can play at home with PC. Sometimes they can go outside for playing because the street is very dangerous in some ways. Of course school offers physical education for their students. But as you know not every student likes this. It is very tiring and sometimes disturbs other classes. For example, in Korea, some parents insist that school should reduce the exercise classes for their children’s concentration for main subjects.

But it’s not true. Sport has many good things for children as well. They can learn ‘fair play’. It helps them not only to take exercise physically, but also to know team play, which sometimes should concede good chances for other player and submit to their losing a game. It is a very important point that they could grow into a good person.

The physical merit is also memorable because there is a lot of research about the relationship between concentration for study and exercise, which says that the latter works people’s brain activities and as a result exercise helps good concentration for all. So if you want your kids to get good marks you might apply extra sport club for them.

Like this, exercising at school has many benefits that children must take part in it. It is necessary for them regardless of their dream. In addition, I dare to say that sport in their childhood can be the only answer for the problems of younger generations these days.
